As an African bean, Rwanda always comes with surprises because I’ve had so many variations over the years.
Flavor
From experience, or maybe from my own personal bias, Rwanda Coffees have a dark fruity flavor to them, and this one is no different. The best way I can describe the smell and taste is with a single word: PURPLE. Keep in mind that any “fruity” coffee will probably have some sourness to it. This one is no exception – but the sourness is mild.
Brewing Methods
I’d recommend this for use with Hario V60, Aeropress, and French Press – not really for Moka Pot or Espresso.
