Where do I start?
This thing turned the already cool AeroPress into a BADASS coffee tool.
It’s simple! Fellow, the company that keeps putting cool coffee toys out on Kickstarter, created a metal filter (nothing new there) that fits into a new cap with a single hole for the AeroPress. The best way I can describe the hole is by saying that it’s similar to the kind you find on a plastic ketchup bottle.
Twist this thing onto the AeroPress and now you don’t have to flip over the whole thing – you can just add coffee, water, stir it, leave it for a minute or two, and BAM!
Coffee is ready!
Because you don’t need filters, you just toss this thing into your bag and Brew great Coffee wherever you go.
This story might only appeal to smokers and I’m sure I’ll get damned by the Coffee snobs for admitting this, but when I had to stay at the hospital with a family member for a few weeks during the COVID 19 pandemic – I wasn’t allowed to go outside to smoke.
So what did I do? I emptied out a cigarettte (unsmoked) into the Aeropress, added the ground coffee I had, and brewed the two together. At that time I didn’t really care about flavor – I just needed Caffeine and Nicotine.
I wanted to tell you this extreme story to give you an idea of how convenient this thing makes the AeroPress.
