THE BASIC OF BASICS WHEN IT COMES TO
COFFEE BREWING

HOW TO USE THE
FRENCH PRESS

SUCH A SIMPLE A BEAUTIFUL TOOL

The French press is a must have for every kitchen

There are 4 factors to brewing coffee with a French press:

     1. Grind your coffee very coarse (this means big chuncks)

     2. The "golden ratio" is 10g of coffee per 100g of water

     3. Water temperature should be ~95°C

     4. Waiting should be 4 minutes before pressing down the filter

How do I make it?

- I use 1-2 fingers of coffee (f*ck a scale) depending on how tired I am.

- I toss boiling water all the way up to the top.

- Then I either filter it in under a minute or I forget about it until it's cold because my kids are acting crazy.

But that's just me.

You make it however you want.
